According to LiveShare’s analysis of more than 15,000 weddings and private events, guests are 4.3 times more likely to upload photos when presented with a QR code compared to being asked to download a dedicated mobile app.
The data highlights a growing preference for frictionless photo sharing experiences. Modern wedding guests want to contribute photos instantly without creating accounts, installing software, or remembering passwords.
Key Findings::
- Guests scan QR codes 4.3x more often than they download event-specific apps.
- 67% of all wedding photos are uploaded within the first 24 hours after the event.
- The average wedding receives 312 guest-generated photos.
